Thinking of You - Flower Garden

Hello Everyone!

I have really been having fun trying to find challenges from different blogs that I can combine together into one card. Not only is it fun to make the card, but I am finding some really amazing challenge blogs in the process. I have three new wonderful blogs to tell you about in a minute, but for now, here is my Flower Garden. I do hope you enjoy!

I am entering this card over at Just Us Girls Challenge and this is for Challenge #249 Trend- Woodgrain. This is a wonderful blog that I recently found and I'm really excited about their amazing challenge line-up. They do Word-Trend-Colour-Photo-Wildcard. How fun is that!! You should really check out their wonderful Design Team with all their fabulous creations!

I used two different woodgrain techniques to create two different styles of woodgrain textures. Hopefully you can see both in the following images. Don't forget, you can supersize by right clicking and open link in new tab.

I am also entering this card over at Studio Craft Shock (that is the internet translation). This is for the July Cardlift Challenge. I just love this blog. The design team is amazing, as are their guest designers and their challenges. I will definitely be back to visit them again and I recommend you visit them too!

Here is the card for the cardlift. It was designed by Olenka_ja. A super talented lady whom you should also drop in and see.

I am also entering this card over at Namaste. They are a monthly challenge blog, but there is so much to look at when they aren't posting challenges. Their design team is brilliant and their challenges are very creative. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. You should pop in there and have a looksie!

This is for their Challenge #19 - Four Flowers - Four Colours. The flowers must all be handmade and the colours must be RED-GREEN-BROWN-WHITE. This was a lot of fun, since I had to make handmade roses for the first time ever!! The foliage is coloured with Tim Holtz distress ink Mowed Lawn.

Dies: Joy Crafts-flower 1, Spellbinders-foliage, Memory Box-bamboo shoots, Tim Holtz-festive greenery
Stamps: Prima-lyric collection, BoBunny-prarie chic, Heartfelt Creations-all seasons
The punch I used to make the paper lace trim is from Michaels Store, but I don't know what it's called.
Handmade: both of the wood texture backgrounds, all of the flowers and the lace trim
From My Stash: waxed cord, bronze charm, sisal, stamens, pearls and bronze jumbo eyelet

That's it for today, thanks for stopping in! If you have any questions, please let me know.

  13. Awesome roses! My wife had her first go at making roses a few months back. It was quite a challenge and took her a lot longer than she had thought. But it was well worth it! Our daughter was so impressed - and I was too! It's really a great thing to learn to do and you did great!
