Card Mania GDT - Challenge #57 - Buttons

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another challenge at Card Mania. This will sadly be my last challenge as a guest designer there. I would like thank Ani and the entire team for making me part of the family for the last 3 months. For my last appearance we have CHALLENGE #58 - BUTTONS.

Here is my make.

The base layer is made with a piece of red card stock that I painted white and ran through my Cuttlebug with a Couture Creations Royalty embossing folder. Then I used a sanding block to sand the white paint off of the raised areas.

Stamps I used: Tim Holtz Wallpaper - Hero Arts Music Collage Background - Impression Obsession Crystal Paisley - Heartfelt Creations All Seasons - the snowflake stamp I stupidly took out of the package and now I have no idea what company it is! doh!

Dies I used: Spellbinders Frosty Forms and Small Petite Ovals - My Favorite Things Fishtail Banners - Cheery Lynn Cutie Fringe III and English Tea Party Doily, Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia - Memory Box Elegant Scroll

Everything was stamped with Ranger Archival ink Vermillion and all the layers were edged with Tim Holtz distress ink Gathered Twigs.

I've been collecting buttons forever, it's about time I got around to using some of them!

I am entering my card into the following wonderful challenges:

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. I read and appreciate every single one! If you have any questions, please let me know.

  4. Wow Pamellia! You bring traditional red and green of Christmas to a whole another astronomical level!! What a stunning creation this is!!! My favorite are double layer banners and flower with that gorgeous red shabby bow! And don't be sad Pamellia about this being the last week of guest designing for Card Mania, cause I am pretty sure, soon enough you won't be just guest but permanent designer at their blog :) I know I repeat myself, but your cards are ART! So, cheers to another MASTERPIECE!

Your style is exquisite and I really should tell you more often how happy your posts make me! :o) (In fact, I'll be back later tonight to leave you more love!)
