Pion Design - Here Comes Santa Claus

Hello Everybody!

Time for another Christmas card!! Today I'm sharing a more traditional Christmas card featuring the collection "The Night Before Christmas" from Pion Design. I was trying to do some scenes from the poem, but I ran out of room for the fireplace! lol

We've been lucky with our weather here. The cities all around me have gotten snow, but not a single snowflake where I am! I'm still enjoying the colours of autumn and intend to suck it all in before everything turns brown!

For my landscape photo today, a lovely tree branch out in The Shire.

For my birds today, I have this awesome male Cardinal...

and this precious Mourning Dove having a nap in the tree!

This little guy posed for me so nicely that I just had to throw him a carrot!
(PS - he only ate the leafy part on the end, he left the actual carrot there when he left! WHAT!)

Doesn't BON JOVI have the most beautiful eyes!

"Nom nom, can't talk now Miss, nom nom, but keep em comin' please, nom nom."

"Bwahaha. No way anyone finds my peanut, I buried it something good!"

"Marco... Marco... Hey, where did everybody go?"

Back on the home front, look who came for a visit!!! I haven't seen PETIE since last winter, which really adds weight to my theory that squirrels may relocate from season to season!! What a joy to see a familiar face!

My macro for the day... a single leaf at the crack of dawn.

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  30. Another outstanding card! The colors are just so beautiful.
    Just so you know,
In late fall until spring, a rabbit's diet shifts. They eat buds, twigs, bark, needles, and any fresh plants they can find. You should leave such foliage out over the winter if you want to feed wild rabbits during these months.
