Pion Design - Refillable Summer Journal / Photo Album

Hello Everyone!

Today I have another version of a journal to share with you. I'm still playing around with different sizes and styles, trying to discover the best and most efficient album that would get the most use. This one features the newest Pion Design collection "Seaside Stories". I have also done a walk-through video, it's just impossible to photograph all of the elements.

Decided to try a new set up for the photographs...don't like it, I'm going back to my dark background.

Last week all the parks will filled with blossoms on the trees. It's one of my favourite times to go out for a walk. I was really hoping to run across some baby ducks or swans this year, but so far I have only seen the Goslings (though they are sure cute enough to keep a smile on my face).

One of our local parks fully in bloom!

"Who says the grass is always greener on the other side? Mine's pretty green, and delicious!"
~Gosling~

I SAW A NEW BIRD!!! How exciting to run across this gorgeous White Crowned Sparrow!
This spring is shaping up to be a good one!

How much do I adore these little creatures!
Big ears, big eyes, wee little tail. What a combo!

"OK, I'm gonna come down now. You promised not to move, remember!!"
~a trail friend~

BABY RED SQUIRREL! It's difficult to tell in this photo, but this is the smallest squirrel I have ever seen! She's smaller than a lemon, including her head!

I have named her Petunia!

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  21. Oww, I always get so excited when we have a video to watch - I can get lost for hours watching your productions. Your journal is breathtaking, such pretty papers and beautiful layouts. It must have taken you days to make, so much patience and so much talent. I just adore this project and I would say it is the perfect size.

Beautiful photos, you make your home look so atractive, you need to be careful or we shall all be moving out there!

    Take care my friend.

  23. Great summer journal/album, Pamellia! You always surprise me with what you will make next! What a LOT of work went into this!

Your photos always make me smile. The landscape photo is gorgeous. I love how the blossoms carpet the walkway--so pretty! And Petunia must be so durn sweet at her tiny size. I've never seen such a tiny squirrel-even Pockets, our crazy baby was much larger by the time we got him. We have a beautiful hawk taking up residence in our yard. I think it must be the cement pond and all the critters that live in it that keeps him around. (Our pool is not functioning as a pool at present, and all we've had is rain since the new pump arrived, so hubby can't get out and fix it.) Sending hot wet hugs!
