We've been having lots of rainy days this week, but I am OK with that! After the horrible drought we had last year, I will take every drop of rain that Mother Nature can spare! There's been a few moments of clear skies, just enough for me to walk out to The Briar Patch and say hello to some friends.
"I swear I groomed my feathers just this morning! It's the darned wind I tell you!"
~Red Breasted Nuthatch~
Hey! Mr Seagull, didn't your Mother ever teach you not to squawk when your mouth is full!!
"I think you can knock it off with the rain now! We get it it's springtime! Ra Ra!"
~Ms Woodpecker~
"Find a cookie, pick it up. All day long you'll have good luck!"
~Crystal~
"I am completely hidden behind this tree! There's no way the human will ever find me now!"
~Winston~
I was so excited to see this little girl again last week. Thanks to my IG friends, she is now called
~Ginger~
"This is so not fair! Those chipmunks can fit like six of these in their face! I'm so jealous!"
~Missy~
For my macro today, a sprig coming to life! It's hard to tell, but this entire grouping of buds was only the size of my thumb!
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.
Beautiful creation and love the photo of your tribe, those squirrels are so cute! Enjoy your Sunday, hugs, Valerie
