Crafty Cardmakers - #123 - Ribbon, Lace & Pearls

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another wonderful challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and More! Thank you so much for all of the wonderful entries last challenge, I sure hope you will join us again this time around!

Jackie is hosting our challenge today and her theme is 'Ribbons/Lace and Pearls', so she would like to see ribbons or lace, {or both} AND pearls on your creations.

Here is what I came up with.


One lucky winner will get £12.00 to spend at either in store or on line at Woodware Craft Collection. The Woodware design team will be playing along with our challenge, so be sure to hop over there and check out their lovely creations! There is also a $12 gift certificate for Di's Digistamps up for grabs.




I decided to do something really soft but fancy at the same time. This is going to my brother Paul and his amazing wife Sarah for their anniversary. They are a soft spoken but really classy couple, so I wanted their card to reflect that.

The backgrounds stamps I used are Rubbernecker Baroque Background and a stamp from the BoBunny Stained Textures set. The die is Memory Box Large Chloe Stem which I added some pearls to.


The frame and bird stamp are from the Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose stamp set and the ink is Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Sand. The frames are cut out using Spellbinders Labels Twenty and have drops of Ranger Liquid Pearls White Opal.


The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations All Seasons. The doily die is Tim Holtz Distressed Doily. The lace and ivory pearls are from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

    Wow this is gorgeous Iam sure your Brother and Sister in Law will treasure it forever and does reflect everything you want it to very soft but very classy (bit like me well the soft part any way hahah)

    You asked on my blog who "John" is? He is my good friend who has managed to get on Creative Expressions DT (big UK craft company) and his cards were featured on Create and Craft (UK craft TV channel) at the weekend. Coincidentally, they were on Sue Wilson's shows, who owns Rubbernecker. . . . .who made your stamp on this card!

    You know that YOUR card is a manifestation of YOU... so this card is just showing who you really are Pamellia... this is just so very pretty... and lovely...
