A Blue Jay
A male Cardinal. This shot was taken just as the sun was coming up over the horizon. He seemed to be enjoying the warmth of the sunlight.
Is it just me, or do you not wanna reach out and hug this sweet creature! Dang!
"I am cute and tiny, and you will feed me because... well, I'm cute and tiny!"
"OK, everything looks good, smells good. I don't think it's a trick, I'm going for it!"
Ran across ROCKY one day. It was very cool that he recognized me and came running up to me for a treat. Of course I gave him a couple!!
My macro for the day. I don't usually find cobwebs to be pretty, but this one just seemed to be glowing in the morning sun.
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.
Your card is just so beautiful. I love the rabbit looking into the gorgeous winter scene and the little framed image of the pine cones looks fabulous. Everything works together so beautifully. Such wonderful photographs too. Wishing you a lovely weekend. Happy crafting, Sandra x
ReplyDeleteIt's another totally delightful creation Pamellia and so nice how your love of wildlife has crept onto you card with the bunny.

Hi Pamellia your festive creation is mouthwateringly beautiful, full of all the wonderful things that make the Winter season so enchanting, the bunny image, the card shape, colours and embellishments are outstanding as always. I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Bon Jovi, why MAN has to be so destructive is beyond me their greed has caused this wonderful planet so much pain, not to dwell on this but to enjoy the beauty and magic your pictures bring, please keep sharing so we can be transported into a more beautiful, peaceful world of nature.

Beautiful card Pamellia!! Great video!!
ReplyDeleteHugs :) Max
Hi, Pamellia! Just popped over from your YouTube Channel. Left a little love over there. Just in case you don't visit, though, I'll leave some here, too! Your fussy cutting around the dies to make more layers is really perfect! I enjoy doing that in my designs, too, and it's actually not bothering me when I make a jagged cut anymore. Maybe I'm learning to accept myself a little better when it comes to limitations?
ReplyDeleteLove the micro beads on the berries - great tip which I hope to remember! B
Your winter scape is so peaceful! Sigh. I would enjoy it momentarily, but my thin southern blood would require I come back home soon LOL
Of today's photos, your macro is most mesmerizing. Actually, as long as the webs are not on my porches or in the house LOL, I enjoy their intricacies. Tiny creatures amass during the cooler months and create micro webbings all over the grass and pasture. On dewey mornings or even frosty mornings, you can look out over the pasture and see thousands of tiny, glistening masterpieces strung from blade to blade. They are marvels. I'm not so happy walking through the "high rise" builders and have learned to blaze a trail with arms outstretched most mornings. Still, the glistening beauties are pretty incredible!
Sending hugs! xo
Oh my goodness, what an amazing card! So stunningly beautiful, I LOVE the frosty blue colour and how cute is that bunny? Pion certainly make so extraordinary papers and your microbead covered berries are a great tip.
ReplyDeleteI am always astounded at how steady your hand is, my free hand cutting never looks that neat and I gave up trying to cut around dies, but your results look so good I am tempted to try again.
The look you have captured on the little Blue Jays face is so sweet and would you believe I actually had a 'toy' bunny I bought from Harrods which actually looked just like that little guy.
Have a great weekend.
Dionne xx
Seems I have missed a lot :( Glad I could make it today to see this beautiful wintery beauty ! Loved the shape a lot :)
ReplyDeleteYour card today is simply breathtaking! Love everything about it...the poised rabbit, beautiful colours and flowers and that amazing bow. I like the shape too, and the way you've tucked the diecut between the layers.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bird and animal photos and the cobweb is magical!
Hope your weekend is good.

ReplyDeleteWonderful woodland photos of your furry friends. I'm so sorry to read about the sad end to beautiful Bon Jovi's story. Such cruelty is incomprehensible but she will live forever thanks to your fabulous photography and generous sharing. I can understand your reasons, but, please don't abandon The Shire. You spread the love for these humble creatures throughout the world xx

ReplyDeletePamellia, what a treat it was for me to watch your video this morning! I actually felt like I was getting to be a butterfly on your craft room wall! This is my favorite winter card this year (until the next one, of course!), and you have added such lovely details with the snowflakes, the hand crafted berries, the handmade embellishment, lace and bow! My favorite little detail that so many would not think to add is that post stamping at the top of the sweet bunny panel. Love, love, LOVE this and your video was eye candy and made my day!
