ScrapAndMe - Garden Wreath

Hello Everyone!

I am super excited today to share my second project as a design team member for ScrapAndMe. I have used the gorgeous ScrapAndMe paper collection "Romantic Garden 2" to create this card for any occasion. The flower patterns are just so beautiful, I love them all!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far, half gone already!! Just a few pics today, haven't had much time outside since wee Bumper arrived 3 weeks ago, God bless him!! This photo is of Bumper on his 2 week birthday, he's growing so fast!!

So this is the lovely Mary with a beak full of grass for her nest. Her and hubby, Mike, took four attempts before successfully building a nest in the rafters of my garden patio. I am so glad they were successful, for they are the parents of my wee baby Bumper... can you see the resemblance! lol

Flashback to last spring when Big Kate was little!!

"So I've thought it through and I've decided to trust you.
I'm going to approach you for a peanut now, please don't make any sudden movements."
~Suzy Q~

"OK, someone's been in my stash and you're standing awfully close! Was it you human!!"
~a trail friend~

"Pardon me, did y'all see the peanut lady run by here? Could swear I smelled lunch!"
~a trail friend~

A different type of macro today, a wasp. This little guy had fallen into my birdbath, so I fished him out and watched him for quite some time as he worked frantically to dry off his wings. I finally decided to go get the camera, glad I was able to get a shot while he still had a few water drops on him.

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

    1. Thanks Patty. Without his Mommy to teach him everything he needs to know, development is slower in captivity than in the wild. I am currently weaning him off of his formula and trying to get him onto solid food. Once he masters that and no longer relies on me for feeding, then I will move him to a flight cage where he will learn how to fly and get used to the elements of the outdoors. In another month or so, he will hopefully be ready to tackle to world. Fingers crossed for the little guy.

  16. Hi Pamellia,
such very wonderful papers used on the very excellent creation.
Love all the wonderful layers, and the colours are unusual for you.
Every time I look at this stunning creation I see something new that I have not seen before.
Beautiful array of lovely photos of your wildlife that you love to capture.
Hope Bumper continues to make good progress, and can learn what he needs to do to be let free and fend for himself.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  18. Wow what an incredible floral creation you have there Pamellia!!
Bumper is certainly thriving with you as a foster parent - just hope his parents don't do a 'cuckoo' and expect you to do that for all their chicks!!
Love your trail shots, and the wasp photo is stunning... don't know that I would rescue a wasp...
    Blessings

  21. These papers are so gorgeous! I love purple and lavender, and how clever of you to spot the wreath and make it the focal point of your design. A lovely card! Congrats on your new Design Team position--they are blessed to have you to showcase their papers! Love all the photos, especially baby bird! I forgot to mention, we also had a nest of Cardinal eggs right off our porch at Capon. They hatched on day two, and we got to see the 3 babies develop so quickly, by the end of our stay. We had some tremendous storms, and it's amazing to see those babies hunker down and live so gracefully through them. Hugs!
