Today I am sharing this celebrate card that could be used for many of occasions. I love these rich blues for a feminine card, I really must purchase some more collections that have this colour in it!
The doily is cut using a Prima doily die, the tulips are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz sticker book, the filigree piece was bronze and I embossed it white, the flowers are hand made, everything else is from my stash.

I made a comment on my last post about not using my camera for a while. I apologize that I made it sound like I was ill. My health is fine and I thank everyone who sent wishes to me with regards to that. My camera issues are from a broken heart, the loss of so many of the faces you would recognize from the last couple of years. The hawks have wiped out most of my patio visitors, so I'm just taking a break.
Some photos taken earlier this winter...
A sign of the changing of the seasons... saw my first Blackbird this week
(photo from last year).
~Teddy~
is doing great although he doesn't visit as often in the winter time.
~Baby Charlie~
is alive and well, and is all grown up. He's one of my only daily visitors left.
~Petie~
is moulting at the moment so he looks ridiculous, but he seems very healthy.
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments.
Gooooooooorgeous!!!! The shades of blue are stunning, the design is gorgeous and your nature photos are breathtaking!!

ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card Pamellia, love the blue for a change and those papers are exquisite
ReplyDeleteSo sad about your furry friends, we don't have the hawk problem here where I am but see so many dead on the roads which breaks my heart. People drive too fast and I'm much more at ease in Winter when I know they're tucked up safely asleep in the hedgerows
Have a nice day

Your cards are work of art and absolute treasures PAmellia, this is no exception. It's GORGEOUS. I know what you mean about lack of visitors, the cats around here sit in wait just out of view of our bird table, so the birds have stopped visiting so often, I miss their visits as you do.

PS sorry for the delay in visiting.
So sad and so upsetting for you and for us. Mother Nature, at times can be so cruel x Sending hugs and love xx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card, it's such a gorgeous shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad that after nurturing those squirrels to have then taken like that, but unfortunately, it's nature. I have a similar situation with a sparrow hawk and I'm always devastated when I see the feathers after a 'kill'

Beautiful card and wonderful photo's
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and papers even though blue you have a very feminine result, love all the distressed edges and beautiful embellishments-glad to hear you are well but sorry to hear about the hawks visits-unfortunalely nature can be very cruel

Everything about this card takes my breath away, from the oh-so-pretty blue palette to those lovely and delicate handmade flowers! And of course, every detail in between. I love the way the rose patterned paper peeks out from behind the denim colored torn papers. Oh, I just LOVE this card--probably my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wildlife photos--always look forward to what you are seeing there! Happy to hear your lack of photo sessions is not your health, but sad you are not being inspired by your environment. Why not come to NC to see some new species???? Ha! Ha! Sending you big hugs!
Love the blue/cream colors Pamellia - that soft netting edge is so pretty with the big bow and lovely doily! Unfortunately, all of Gods animals have to eat, so sad to lose such sweet animal friends - at least animals don't kill for sport - they just do it to survive. I realized that when Kent and I went on safari in Kenya - and saw some very thin big cats who had not found a kill for several weeks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour scheme hun, all your cards look so gorgeous, fab layers and detail, hope your ok, hugs Liz xx
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous blues! This card is such a wonderful combination of those papers and your special way of finding the perfect combination of flowers, ribbons etc ! Pleased you are not ill but so sorry for the loss of your visitors to the hawks! I love seeing hawks flying but sad when I find a heap of feathers in the garden at our caravan! Take care and hope you will pick up your camera soon! Big hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning card, love those deep blues. Thanks for sharing those stunning photos too x
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry to hear about the hawks, nature can be so cruel and it is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful, all of your designs are so stunning. The trouble with playing catch-up is that after a while your running out of words to say how amazing your designs are. The soft blues are gorgeous with all of the white bits and bobs.
Dionne xx
Hi Pamellia
ReplyDeleteSorry that some of your friends have fallen.

Beautiful card in a lovely shade of blue.
Hope that you have the heart to take your camera out again soon.
Best wishes.
