Back to Christmas today! I really can't get enough of these Lemoncraft papers sent to me by the very talented Lisa of A Mermaid's Crafts. These papers are from the "Christmas Carols" collection and you can purchase them at Lisa's Etsy shop here.
It's been a while since I entered a challenge, but I thought I would throw my hat in the ring over at Noor! Design this month. The theme is Anything Goes.

The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, the frame is made from a Martha Sterwart mold and hot glue and then painted white, the mini clothes pin is from Canvas Corp and everything else is from my stash.

This time of year is the best time for fog. I think a misty morning is one of my favourite things, and it makes for great photos because you can't see the row of houses behind the trees or the apartment building on the horizon! This shot was taken before the sun came up so it's not the best quality, but I just couldn't resist the spooky and yet ever so peaceful ambience.
A sweet little Sparrow trying to get a bit of sun. Can you see the one in the background? Busy morning!
"Yes, I know, I'm gorgeous. Its my best winter outfit and it still fits like a glove!"
~Miss Starling~
"Thanks for the peanut human. Any chance you can do something about the rain!"
~Mr Blue Jay~
"Aaaaaaa, you gave me a peanut, I posed for a picture... at this point I feel like you're just stalking me!"
~Scarlet~
"OK, where are you hiding the good stuff, these pistachios are way tiny!"
~Shelley Bee~
Does everyone remember wee Baby Charlie Brown? Well he's not a baby anymore and he's developed quite the attitude! He is very territorial and doesn't like any other squirrels approaching me and he'll chase them away, all the way down the tree. On one hand it's super cute that he wants all the attention and nuts, but on the other hand I feel I've raised a spoiled teenager! Lol
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.
Gorgeous card, love the beautiful papers, layers and embellies. Fantastic photos, too, we had fog and snow at the weekend here. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card...as always, beautifully designed and embellished, love the snowy feel to this one!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos too, the birds are so beautiful and the squirrels entertaining as always, had to laugh about Charlie Brown, the spoiled teenager!

ReplyDeleteThat first shot is amazing!! It looks like the cover of a mystery novel...all suspenseful and mysterious!! What lurks in that fog??!! The birds are beautiful!! Scarlet and her hairy ears makes me smile!! And how adorable that Charlie Brown wants you all to himself!! He's too cute!! I hope you have a wonderful week, dear friend!! It's almost 70 here today but we'll be in the 30's by Wednesday. Oh joy!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

The papers are indeed beautiful and in your hands they are amazing! I always love your layering and those fabulous pom poms are an absolute delight! Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is Charlie Brown? Sounds like he is jealous and wants you (and the food) all to himself, that is just so sweet. Love your 'misty' shot, very ethereal and very beautiful... Hugs, Anne xx

Oh wow, another beauty of a card, Pamellia! Lucky people on your mailing list! Love the shabbiness of it and all the pretty lace trims. We've had a few foggy mornings this past week also. It almost reminds me of snow approaching! Cold weather is due back here on Wednesday. Fantastic photos and details. I'm amazed at the Starling--ours here are somewhat plan looking.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Those papers are gorgeous Pamellia, and you know just how to showcase them too! Loving all the layers, the beautiful laces and those gorgeous pom pom trims! Stunning creation as always.
ReplyDeleteYour misty landscape is awesome .. as you said, so eerie and yet so peaceful! Love your sweet Charlie Brown . he even looks mischievous .. LOL!! Fabulous photos once again.
Have a terrific day my friend!! hugs xx
Beautiful papers Lisa sent and you made a incrediblely beautiful card Pamellia! the laces and distressing all compound the beauty! You always amaze me with your critter pic, they are delightful!
ReplyDeleteThose papers are indeed stunning peeping through between all those beautful layers of laces and trims! The captions underneath your photos always make my day, sweet Charlie Brown is such a character, who can blame him he wants you all to himself.... And that misty firsts shot is so full of mystery, - love it!
ReplyDeleteThose papers are gorgeous, but made even more lovely at your crafty hands! Love all the trims and the frame surrounded by the basket filler, and most of all that vintage looking bow--just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAlways love the photos--bring 'em on! The foggier the better! That is one mysterious looking walkway! We have been getting the foggy mornings, but I don't see it the way your camera does! Shelly Bee couldn't be sweeter! I wonder if Charlie Brown ever tries to get in the house? Roger (cat) is pretty territorial, and sweetly (read manipulative) aggressive (but not harmful at all) and tries to bully me out of my computer chair, so I get the spoiled brat thing.
Do you know how excited I am that you are posting regularly??? Sending hugs!
Thanks so much Sara!! Funny you asked about Charlie coming in the house. I just took a video of him the other day, he came inside to check out the Christmas tree. Jumped up on the sofa table, jumped into the tree, zipped around the tree and then headed for the exit. So hilarious and so glad I got it on video! hugs :)
DeleteAnother yummy work of art. I loooooove the snowflake. Beautiful wildlife photos, as ever for me the squirrels steal the show x
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Lemoncraft papers are really awesome. it's very nice of Lisa to send you some. I can't wait to get my hands on some as well - hopefully they will come sooner than later. ReplyDeleteAnd what great pictures of animals and nature. Those comments under the animal photos really made me giggle. :D Thank you for making me smile just before going to bed. I'm sure tonight I'll dream about rainbows and unicors. lol
Have a wonderful day my sweet friend!

ReplyDeleteYour shoot of fog is stunning, really beautiful!
I smiled and giggled seeing the photos of your friends and reading the words you put in their mouths. :D You perhaps are a squirrel stalker? Ah ah ah :D How fun!!! Charlie is just amazing! His eyes just talk!! And he is jealous! Such fun guy! I wish love seeing him jumping on your Christmas tree :) He perhaps though that it was full of yummy peanuts! Gifts for squirrels! LOL
Hugs

Scrumptious embellishing on this treat of a card - and particularly wonderful photos today. The birds are amazing all puffed up against the cold, and I do adore Charlie Brown (both the squirrel and the cartoon strips).
