It's been too long since I pulled out my Prima paper pad "Tales of You and Me". I have to say, this collection is one of my favourites when I want to do something girly and vintage! All of those roses and shades of pink, what's not to love!
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the silk ribbon is from Michael's Craft Store, the wood leaf flourishes are from Scrapiniec, the rose cameo is from The Funkie Junkie and everything else is from my stash.
Loving my new laces and want to send out a huge thank you to Patty of Creating with Paper and Bows. She makes such beautiful shabby chic pieces and always uses the most gorgeous laces! She inspired me to invest some money in a stash of nice Venice laces, and I am so glad that I did. Thanks Patty!

Well I believe that's a wrap for autumn. There are a few leaves here and there desperately clinging to the trees, but a stiff wind will take those away leaving only a skeleton of a forest behind. This is the last of my autumn photos, lots of crafting for me until the white comes to visit. lol

You may remember seeing a couple of photos of Sweet Cheeks in my last few posts. She is new to the neighbourhood, but has quickly become a face I always look for. She's quite the little poser and she's always first in line for lunch. And how about those ears! Lol
Is it an alien planet?? Nope, it's a macro of some very cool miniature fungi growing on a fallen tree trunk. So colourful and amazing, love it!
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

ReplyDeleteI am drooling all over my computer desk here!! This is totally divine Pamellia!! I have another fave (all of your creations are my faves!! LOL!!) I do so love all the layers, the softness created by all the lace and fibre and your embellishments are always perfect and so beautifully placed. It looks so delicate and so very beautiful!! As I said, I am literally drooling here!!
ReplyDeleteYou asked where I got my sentiment ornaments from. They are made by Scrapmatts which is an Australian chipboard company. I actually purchased mine at a Craft show a couple of months ago but they also have an online shop and do post overseas. http://papertoleaustralia.com/home Not sure if this link will work but online they are called Scrapmatts and Papertole so if you type that in you should be able to find them. They have lots of wonderful chipboard pieces.
Loving your photographs and am still drooling over the card LOL!! Have a wonderful day my friend. hugs xx
Your stunning card is wonderfully layered with those gorgeous papers, lace and ribbon and as always beautifully finished with the most perfect embellishments. Love it. We have had a late and long autumn here in the uk and the colours have been particularly beautiful this year, our beech trees and hedges are such a lovely golden brown and still peppered with glorious yellows and reds which have been just delightful. The frosts have arrived so I’m sure they’ll not last much longer but on the days when the sun shines it’s fabulous going out for a drive to see it all. Have a wonderful weekend xxx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous card Pamellia!! I can see why you are in love with these paper designs! (thank you for clarifying things for me-haahaa I made a funny! heehee) mums the word!
ReplyDeleteHow ever do you tell all these lil critters apart? so many to see! And that peanut is almost bigger than the Chickadee! heehee
Hope you get some snow soon-just up there though- I know how you love it! heehee

So gorgeous and feminine. Sorry I have been MIA, time and events have not been on my side but I have been keeping an eye on your projects even though I haven't been commenting. I have taken inspiration from your beautiful creations to have a go and create my own mixed media card for a challenge I was involved in and would like to thank you for your guidance.

ReplyDeletePamellia, a BEAUTIFUL shabby layered card! those papers are indeed gorgeous, and the flowers and laces really enhance the beauty! You have chosen some gorgeous pieces of lace from the shop and I really, really love those dusty antique rose roses and the cameo! I have always been a sucker for cameos, but would never think to add them to my cards. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour wildlife is all looking healthy and happy and the new kid on the block is a really sweetie! A beautiful day here in Wilmington with blue skies and sunshine galore! I even went out on the golf course with my hubby (he played, I heckled). So good to get out in the sunshine after having a nasty cold all week. Sending great big hugs!
