This is my first creation using the brand new Pion collection called Scent of Lavender, and boy oh boy, I sure am in love with these beautiful papers!! I think purple may be my new favourite colour!!

The snow and ice are all gone, and overnight spring has sprung back into action! HALLELUJAH!! A couple of rainy shots from my window.
I have had a few inquiries about my little lake and how close I am to it, so I thought I would do a sort of panoramic type thing for my morning coffee shot. The first photo is looking out and up, off the balcony. The second photo is what you see if you turn left...the lake. Although once those trees are all filled with leaves, It will be visibility zero! haha
I caught a glimpse of my first American Robin!! How exciting is that!!
I've been trying to get my squirrels to eat some healthier type foods. Apparently peanuts are kind of like junk food to them. So I put out a dish of veggies and fruit and they just stare up at me with this look of disappointment!! I thought I would be sneaky, so I covered a piece of cabbage with peanut butter...Dee Dee licked every bit of peanut butter off the cabbage and then tossed the cabbage aside!
TALK ABOUT SPOILED!
I would like everyone to meet the newest member of the Johnson family...this is Mini Mike. He has the same unique brown colouring as Chocolate Charlie, perhaps an offspring? He's only about two thirds the size of Charlie though, he hasn't even grown into those big dumbo ears yet! Isn't he just the sweetest!
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. I read and appreciate every single one! If you have any questions, please let me know.
Fresh limes, lilacs and so many pretty flowers and details, this super creations has all the elements of Spring Pamellia.

My dear Pamellia, I am completely enamored with this card! My purple-loving self squeeed silly when Pion first teased this release... now to see it in the hands of your crafty heart, I am smitten. This creation is so beautifully soft, flowy, and blossoming with sweet inspiration. I love the curved and angular paths with tiny treasures nestled within. If only you could feel the joy and happiness you bring my heart!!! :o) This is stunning beyond words and will soon be pinned. I am forever thankful for your creativity and your beautiful heart! :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd ohhhh how I adore your nature pictures! And your furry little friends! The robin picture is spectacular... I have a bunch of herons/cranes outside my window and while I do love them, I have to laugh at their less-than-pretty noise! I do think of you when I watch my squirrel friends chase each other around the yard and up the trees. Nature is so lovely... as are YOU. :o)

Wow Pamellia, this is stunning. The lavender, both colour and images, are fabulous and I adore all of the layers and textures. (The other day I saw a recipe for chocolate lasagna, all of the layers here make me think of a card lasagna - although I suspect the chocolate lasagna is the more tasty.)

ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE Card Pamellia. It's just STUNNING in every way. Those colors are just amazing... dainty but in a more imposing and bold way than when you put the pink with the green. I really enjoyed this one alot.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - Mini Mike is beyond adorable. Sooo precious. Of course, I laughed right out loud at Dee Dee eating the peanut butter but hey - cabbage - really? I have to have mine cooked with bacon and then it stinks up the whole house!!! I don't blame her one bit for discarding it. In fact, I'm proud of her - eheheheheheh!!!!
So glad you saw the robin - spring is on the way for sure now!!! And wow - what a fat and fluffy Robin he is too!!! LOVELY! XXj.
