Soft Angel has come out to play today and she has brought with her some gorgeous Pion Design papers!! I've put together this wedding card to add to my stack, you can really never have enough of those ready to go for summer time, and this could be used for an Anniversary too! This card was inspired by the mood board over at Live & Love Crafts. I have had inquiries about where to purchase the Pion Design papers, so please go and check out the Live & Love Crafts Store for the available collections.
I apologize for not getting around to visit everyone this weekend. Taking a couple of days off to spend with hubby and the girls. Have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday!

The leaf stems and the doily are both from Cheery Lynn and the sentiment die is from Sizzix. I coloured the leaves with Distress inks Bundled Sage and Shabby Shutters. The dark pink flowers were made from fabric and coloured with distress ink Victorian Velvet. The other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the big ivory fabric flower is from May Arts. The frame is made from air dry clay, the lace is from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, everything else is from my stash.

Some more wintery, icy, chilly, more-winter-than-I'm-interested-in shots today. Some snow over here, some ice over there, and one very annoyed photographer taking pictures of it all!! tee hee
My winter morning coffee shot, kind of dark and ominous and speaks to the quiet of a winter morning!
Lots of winter visitors. It's busy around here when the weather is bad. My guess is, I'm one of the only available food sources when everything is covered in ice and snow. Here are the Cardinal and the House Sparrow that came for food from the squirrel dish.
Chocolate Charlie and Tonya enjoying some breakfast. Tonya loves the new squirrel bowl!
Mr Scruff and one of the new girls (I haven't named her yet) use the snow bank to take cover from other pesky squirrels and birds.
How cheeky does Mr Scruff look! What a funny little dude!
STRIKE A POSE!!!
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. I read and appreciate every single one! If you have any questions, please let me know.
Another stunning card. I love your style. Brilliant squirrel pictures, so cute. Enjoy your weekend, Cara x

As you just said Pamellia our posts could not be more different. ..wow so much snow whilst my tulips are flowering. .lol. your dreamy card makes up for everything. .it's beautiful. Have a lovely weekend with your Hb and the girls. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteThe most beautiful card, such texture and the prettiest of colours. Great to see your little friends and that red cardinal is fabulous x
ReplyDeleteAs a wedding card, this would be beautiful in a framed shadow box as a reminder of the wonderful day! I'm always amazed at your layers and how they all blend to create such a visual creation. I feel happy if I have three layers! LOL. Tomorrow we are supposed to have 15cm's of snow here in NS, so it's moving down from Ontario. My crocusii are all in bloom now and some daffodils with buds. At least, the snow won't stay long as in February, but I too hate to see it when the ground is dry. I have never had a cardinal at my feeder - they are so bright!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Pamellia! Enjoy your weekend! Don't be upset with winter--it never got a chance to snow during its season as spring kept pushing it away! lol Now, it's taking its revenge!
ReplyDeleteYour card is just so intricate and pretty Pamellia, and so beautifully co-ordinated. You have such an eye for colour and this also shows in your photography too. It's just starting to get a little warmer here in the UK but I'm just loving your Winter shots, especially the ones with snow and ice on the branches, they looks so beautiful. I love all your little animal friends too, you are so lucky to have them on your door step. Have a lovely weekend :)x

Have a wonderful weekend with your family! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your family time Pamellia. I love this dreamy creation. The colours are so delicate and beautifully eye catching. I love the touch of scalloped lace and the die cut piece in the background. Beautiful arrangement and design. Happy weekend. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! That lace is so pretty! So nice to see you at Little Red Wagon. :-)
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I'm jealous of you for having cardinals? I had them here at my feeders the first year I started feeding birds and they haven't been back since. :-( The difference between the males and females are so pronounced...didn't even know the females were cardinals until I looked it up! Anyhoo, have a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteOh my .. this is stunning Pamelia!! Love the many layers and the soft colours and really love that gorgeous little frame. You say it's made from air dry clay so can I assume that you made that one yourself? I have been looking for some moulds so I can make my own but cannot seem to find open ones like this. Could you tell me where you found yours?? I would really appreciate that. I always adore your nature shots. Snow is something we don't get here in Adelaide .. it always looks so beautiful to me, and thank you for sharing your little critters too .. they are so adorable. hugs xx
ReplyDeletePamellia, my sweet friend, this masterpiece has zipped straight to the top ranks of my favorite cards from you! It is exquisite. You have such a gift and you richly inspire me. :o)

Beautiful card, Pamellia, as always! I never tire of your designs and soft feminine style. Love seeing your wintry shots, but when the heck will spring arrive???? I laughed at your line about the birds coming to eat from the squirrel's food, when here we always complain about the squirrels eating from the bird feeders! I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your family! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHi Pamellia,
ReplyDeleteYour card is absolutely beautiful; so soft, so shabby and full of pretty details!!! What a gorgeous collection Easter Greetings is! Loooooove your winter pics as well; the red bird is stunning, but what I enjoyed the most are the pics of the squirrels. I've never seen a black squirrel though, very fascinating as I'm used to red/brownish ones in Sweden and the grey ones here in the UK. Thanks for playing with LLC again and for the mention.
