Frilly and Funkie - Floral Infatuation with Video

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another challenge over at Frilly and Funkie. Nancy is our hostess this time around and she has chosen the theme "FLORAL INFATUATION". She would like you to make a vintage or shabby chic project with flowers as a focal point. One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Linda's shop The Funkie Junkie Boutique!

I have put together a little video for those who care to take a peeksie.

All of the following products that I used can be purchased at The Funkie Junkie Boutique:

***
Today I have a few pics from our visit to the Panoramic Lookout in Minden. The photos look a little different than normal, as I've decided to switch gears with my photography style a bit. I'm aiming for a more low-key, artsy look and I will be interacting with my surroundings a bit more now too. My inspiration comes from an unbelievably talented wildlife photographer Konsta Punkka.

A huge thank you to Jacquie and Niki (Doc) for introducing me to this amazing photographer!

And back on the home front, I have switched lenses as well as photo styles. I'm getting right up in the faces of my local wildlife friends and so far I can't tell you what a rush it's been!!

First up we have my beautiful CRAZY KAREN taking some lunch from my hand.

MR SCRUFF taking a wee snack from me.

Look who came for a visit! JUNIOR is harder to nab on camera when he eats from my hand, as he always closes his eyes. Little brat... I'll get him, don't you worry! lol

Up in the tree we have this beautiful Grackle. You can see the feathers starting to fall from his head, as he begins his preparations for winter.

Oh, how I have been itching to show you this photograph... it took me several hours to get this shot!
THIS WEE CHICKADEE IS SITTING IN MY HAND!!!!

I'm linking up my Chickadee photograph and all my photos actually, to Our Beautiful World, where the prompt this week is Summer!

And last but not least, my token after dinner shot. Probably won't have too many more of these because the sun has already started to move behind the buildings where I can't see it. Seems like summer really is coming to a close.

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  20. I always love your cards and the shabby style, and this card isn't an exception!! It looks just amazing with these colours and your stunning layers! Wonderful paperpiecing (with fabulous papers!)and great dimensions on her dress!!! Love the crinckled ribbon at the waist and the lace on the bottom, they are both clever ideas and look so well! The flowers are delightful, expecially the roses. You always use gesso and white pant on your woks, they give a special touch, and before or later I have to try this!
Your new style of photographing landscapes really gives the idea to "look from a hole", such great effect!! But LOVE the "normal" shots of your furry friends, and it's a joy see them eating from your hands!! The little chikadee sitting in your hand is sensational!! Love it!!!
    Have a lovely day!
