I am entering the following wonderful challenges:
***
One of my favourite things about winter is when we get freezing rain. I just love the way the ice forms on every branch of every tree. Well, no such luck this year, but there is a leak in our rain gutter, so some ice formed on the branch underneath. It only lasted one night, but it was beautiful!
The sun is finally start to head towards the North horizon which means I get a glimpse of the stunning skies from my balcony again! YAY!
My first shot of a bird!! I'm always so envious when Valerie posts her bird pictures, so this one was a real treat for me. Darned things don't sit still long enough to grab a pic! I think it's a Blue Jay??
And last but certainly not least, my darling Scully enjoying the peace and quiet. She loves it in our new home as much as I do.
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. I read and appreciate every single one! If you have any questions, please let me know.
AWESOME NEWS!!!!!!!!!! HUGE congratulations Pamellia! They are so lucky to have you. Jenny x

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you, Pamellia, on making Pion's design team. Their papers are one of my most favorite. I just got this Easter collection and wasn't sure what to do with it. Your gorgeous card has provided me with wonderful inspiration. I also see that sweet little Dianna is gone! Oh my, what happened? Makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patty. We aren't sure what happened. She passed in her sleep Tuesday night. We think she must have been sick. She didn't have much of an appetite and she moved kind of slowly. There is no wildlife hospital in our city and the local vets said they couldn't help a wild squirrel, so I cared for her the best I could. I was quite devastated and spent the day sobbing. Mother Nature sucks!! Thanks for your kind words. hugs :)
DeleteThat's the hard part about nature--so much beauty but also sadness. You did what you could for Dianna. I had a similar problem with baby birds that fell from their nest last spring. I put them under a plant with some bread being careful not to touch them, but they were far too young to survive on their own. Even my neighbor tried to help. I was constantly checking on them to make sure a cat or some other animal didn't get them.
DeleteOh no, that's horrible Patty! It's so hard feeling helpless like that. You are right about nature, beautiful but oh so cruel! happy weekend to you. hugs :)
DeleteMany congratulations on joining the Pion Design Team, I am sure they must know how lucky they are. Your Easter card is so very sweet with it's little chick images and lovely lace.
ReplyDeleteI popped by a little while ago and spotted your tribute to darling Dianna, I am afraid the news really upset me and I had trouble finishing my task, I can only imagine what you are going through.
Dionne xx

Such a cute picture of your little darling on 4 feet Pamellia, glad to read he loves your new home. Your card is as always a treat to the eye. I love pion papers too but cannot get them here in Belgium and the cost is just too high to let them send over from holland because the size is not a regular A4.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new DT job. Hugs, Veerle x
