I'm back with another card featuring the new Pion Design collection "The Songbird's Secret". In keeping with my goal for 2017, I have also used up some bits from the Christmas collection "Greetings From the North Pole". I love the contrast between the rich browns and the soft pastels!

It's been very mild these last few days. I've had the windows open most of them, certainly not weather I would expect for Canada in January. For my landscape photos today, I thought I would share a couple of sunrise pics from my visit up North.
I hope everyone will join me today in celebrating SQUIRREL APPRECIATION DAY!!

Grab a few veggies, fruit pieces and/or tree nuts and help a squirrel or two have an easy day today. Sure, they may survive without your help, but maybe just for today, they don't have to fight and struggle to do so. They deserve it.

I am very thrilled to share some news with you today. On the encouragement of my dear friend Sara Emily, I submitted a few photographs to the Birds and Blooms magazine, and they published this photo of Mr Chubb in their on line gallery!! What an honour! Thanks for believing in me Sara!! ❤❤
My dear sweet KAREN says hello to you all on this fine day. She is my bright light and always makes me smile with her funny antics.

Love the nest on the top and the striking dark mats on the layers, and the rustic string across them! Fabulous flowers and little details! Those blue birds on the paper are so pretty!

I would love celebrating SQUIRREL APPRECIATION DAY, but here there aren't squirrels!! :D But everyday I feed some rescue cats that leave on street and some free birds, too. I hope it's enought :)
