Pion Design - Soft as a Songbird!

Hello Everyone!

Back with another Pion card today. This I went super soft and subtle, one of my favourite styles! I have used two collections, "The Songbird's Secret" and "Where the Roses Grow". A delightful combination with the soft greys and blues, don't ya think!

I haven't been outside as much I would like, apparently trekking through the mud is not really my thing. lol. Again I share some landscape photos from up north and my wildlife shots were mostly taken in December when we had some snow.

I have decided to play along over at Our Beautiful World this week. Their theme is "Outside", seems like it's right my alley! lol

For my birds today, I have this sweet little Black Capped Chickadee perched on my hand...

a beautiful female Sparrow catching some morning rays...

and this handsome male Cardinal having a sit down in the snow...

"OK human, I gave you my very best cute face. Time for you to drop the peanuts!"

"Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light."
Madeline L'Engle

"Please stop snowing. Please stop snowing. Please stop snowing."

For my macro today, a beautiful frozen leaf in the morning sun...

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  9. The colours ARE delightful Pamellia, as is your beautiful card. The papers combine seamlessly in your wonderful designs.
I hate sloshing about in mud too! It makes walking very unpleasant...and then there's cleaning it off the dog when we get in...at least she has long legs and short fur...but still not a fun job!

Beautiful icy, sparkly snow images today and I just love those beautiful squirrel shots today, they look lovely with their fur puffed up like that. We are getting through tons of birdseed here but no sign of any squirrels yet..... Hugs, Anne xx

  18. Pamellia I LOVE this one!! It is EXTRA beautiful! The bird is So pretty and with the layers it gives a cool dimension that makes it look so real perched there! Of course your critter shots are always awesome. I always wonder do you spend lits of time feeding the birds so they come to sit on your hand or are you just the bird whisperer :)

  23. Anoher fabulous card Pamellia, beautiful soft colours and gorgeous glimpses of lace, pearls, clear 'water' droplets and a few strands of fibre. So very delicate.

Wonderful wildlife shots as always. I love how you have caught all of that sharkle in the snow and those frozen moments in time. Your squirrels and birds seem to be coping well with the snow but I bet they are all pleased it has gone away.

    Have a great day.
