Since I didn't have a really good 'knock-me-out-and-blow-me-over' flu in 2017, I decided to start off the new year with a real doozy!! While I spent the week in bed, Mother Nature decided to come and melt all of my pretty snow!! Well too bad lady, I'm gonna share some more winter photos anyhow! lol

A stunning Starling enjoying the magical snowfall...

"Worst game of bobbing for peanuts, EVER!"
~Mr Blue Jay~

A beautiful male Cardinal diving off of a branch...

"You would tell me if I had something on my nose, right?"
~Mary Gold~

"This too, shall pass"
~Delilah~

"Bwahaha, look what I found! Totally worth a head dive in the snow bank!"
~Baby Charlie Brown~

  32. Wow! and Hello! LOL It's been a while, and for that, I'm deeply sorry - you know how it goes... Looks like I'll be commenting less in the coming year, but it doesn't mean I don't love what I see. But I have to say THANK YOU for the multiple photos. I learned so much in this particular creation - like all the tiny tucks here and there for the laces and papers. Do you purchase your laces anywhere in particular? I especially like the lace tied around the ribbon on your tag. And the darling little sentiment so sweetly and delicately placed as a reminder of the beauty and fragility of each day - we often take our lives for granted. Another dear idea is your use of lace pieces in place of leaves! Genius! Hoping your creativity has enveloped my soul enough so I can remember these marvelous tips, and ways of your dear artistry.

I would love using your incredible photo of the Starling in a card. Wouldn't it be magical? Each photo is darling, especially with your subcaps. Congrats on your new DT gig! I'm off to view their products, Pamellia.

PS - hoping you are soon over the flu - it must take a toll on you - I'm fortunate, and probably should not say anything to jinx myself, but rarely do a catch anything because my immune system is just the opposite - it's an overachiever who enjoys attacking my own body parts LOL

    love,
    de

    1. Thanks so much Donna. I buy my laces whenever and wherever I see them. I recently bought some grab bags on Etsy containing just all kinds of pieces of laces and ribbons and even some buttons. Not big pieces, but a wonderful variety! Scrapiniec is is Poland, that's correct. They ship worldwide at a very reasonable price, so you should definitely check them out. sending hugs :)

  33. Pamellia, I always enjoy your cards whether they are bright and colorful, or almost all white on white, like this one. They are filled with magical layers and details and oh, that lace! How gorgeous! Can you believe I used lace on a card this week?! Yup!

Congratulations on your new DT! They are so lucky to have you, and I'm especially excited becuase we will get to see MORE Pamellia specials!

So sorry you have been in bed with the flu. I bet you didn't even care that the snow was melting. Hopefully you are getting more. We are in the 60's today after freezing all week, and more cold on the way this weekend. This has been the coldest winter I've experienced in the south; perhaps colder than some winters we've had us north. Our weather is always extreme living this close to the ocean. (usually hot/humid, but the cold is bone chilling because of the moisture and wind)

I almost forgot to mention how wonderful your photos are...I don't ever want to take that talent you share so freely for granted. The snow is beautiful, and your furry and feathered friends look even more sweet in the snow! Sending virtual chicken soup and hugs!

  38. I knew I was a little behind with my commenting but I had not realised just how behind. Oh dear, so sorry. This week snow has come to my small neck of these particular woods. At the moment I have very little snow but, right now, I feel a lot like Delilah, brrrr!

Beautiful card, you seem to be channeling romantic thoughts at the moment as all of you cards are real stunners.

I hope you are completely recovered from your flu and are up and about again.
