Frilly and Funkie - Snap, Crackle, Crackle

Hello Everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge at Frilly and Funkie and this time I am the hostess! I have chosen the theme SNAP, CRACKLE, CRACKLE! I would like to see some cracks on your creations! You can use crackle paint, crackle paste, crackle glaze, crackle accents, an old cracked image, a piece of cracked UTEE, a cracked pattern from a stencil or stamp, you can even doodle on your crackle design! Anything goes, as long as is cracks me up!!

The top main panel was coloured with Tim Holtz Cracked Pistachio and Abandoned Coral and then splashed with water. I used the Tim Holtz Flourish stencil and some Crackle Paste to lay down my pattern. The leaves were cut with Tim Holtz Garden Greens out of Kraft paper and coated with Picket Fence crackle paint and then spritzed with Gathered Twigs spray.

The back panel is coated with Crackle paint and drizzled with Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs. The little butterfly is from the Graphic 45 stamp set Time to Flourish. The flowers are cut using Sizzix Tattered Florals and coloured with Abandoned Coral. The doily is from Prima and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz's Chit Chat stickers. The fancy border die cuts are done using Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One.

The larger butterfly is from Tim Holt'z French Flight stamp and die set. The lattice is Tim Holtz Frameworks die Trellis. The gorgeous lace, bronze leaves, bronze corner piece and pearls are all from Linda's shop.

UPDATE:
My card won an award in the following wonderful challenge:
