Hello Everyone! I am here today hostessing the Friday Focus over at Frilly and Funkie! I will be playing with some fabulous charms and metal embellishments that Linda carries at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
I do hope you will pop on over and visit me as I share some different techniques on how to decorate and utilize a variety of these amazing embellishments!

It's been kind of rainy and overcast here for the last few days...didn't stop me from getting outside and enjoying nature for a few minutes. It was actually quite peaceful outside, since it was just me and the birds! haha
I love to get outside and enjoy all kinds of weather, but Pebbles believes nature is a spectator sport, so she is quite content to watch the rain from the safety and dryness of my craft desk! WUSS!
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. I read and appreciate every single one! If you have any questions, please let me know.
Hi Pamellia
ReplyDeleteWow what a beautiful place you live in , beautiful pics for us to share , thank you for showing them.
I can't wait to see what you do with the embellishments , i have a few sitting in a box i must confess i really do not know what to do with them doh, but i know you will put that right for me .
Take Care
Big Hugs

Hi Pamellia,
ReplyDeletethis is gorgeous, and so fabulously created too.
Love all the metal work involved in this superb creation.
Sorry I have missed a few of your posts, but I have had some bad news about my sister this week, and didn't feel like blogging.
Have a wonderful weekend, and the photos of your area are great.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Haha! My cats are like that too ... don't like the rain or wind! Hopping over to F&F now
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I must confess I'm a bit of a wuss too when it comes to the rain, I'd much rather do what Pebbles is doing than be out in it. Off to visit you at F&F to find out what I can do with my metal stuff.

Just popped over to Frilly and Funkie and had a look at all the creations with your metal embellishments and seeing them again was as nice as when I saw them the first time. Thanks for all the altering tips. I'm with Pebbles and would rather watch the rain than be out in it so I guess that makes me a WUSS too.
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Just took a peekski at your tutorial on F&F and loved it! I'm goign to have to try the black distress paint with the silver sponging - it looks divine! As for the rain - I've never minded it because it gives me an excuse to stay indoors and craft. ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, your little one has it right to stay inside when it rains. Off to see what you did with the embellishments.

And I think the ducks are far happier! Pebbles just doesn't want to mess up that lovely hair. You know what the humidity can do to our hair! Hugs!

My dear Pamellia, I cannot thank you enough for always being a treasure trove of inspiration! Your Friday Focus features are always spectacular (like everything you do), filled with inspiration and beauty. I love metal embellishments and your work with them is incredible. You are such a talented cookie, not to mention sweet as pie! And I love your area... what gorgeous pictures once again! I am truly thankful you have been blessed with such a magical environment... it will only stir your creativity even more. Have a twinkly night, my dear friend. :o)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Karen
I have quite a few charms in my stash, but barely use them - one of the reason is also that they are not always the colour I want/need. After checking out your post at the Frilly and Funkie blog I got some great ideas on how to altering them. Ha! Thanks for that! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs! xx
Hmm... well, given Pebbles and I seem to share a frizzy hair issue, I'm with her on avoiding the drizzle if possible! Hopping over to see the filigree focus!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
Wow, you have certainly moved to a very beautiful place and it is great that you are enjoying it so much.
