Mixed Media Birthday

Hello Everyone!

That's right, I said mixed media! Well I guess this is about as mixed as my media gets nowadays. A little paint, some ink, some matt gel and lots of microbeads and seed beads. The papers are from Prima's Salvage District. I love the neutral grey tones, I can add any colour flower to it I want and it always matches!

The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the wood embellishments are from Scrapiniec, the sentiment is from Pion Design, all the pearls are from The Ducks Doodahs and everything else is from my stash.

***
It has been just like spring here this past week. Absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get outside and enjoy it, so another round of winter photos will have to do for today.

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

Daisy is so adorable!! What a sweet face!! The Cute Twin is too cute!! We're getting spring-like weather, too, with lots of rain. It's raining right now. The rivers are flooding just south of here. I'm just hoping we've seen the last of the snow. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!! Big hugs :)

  7. Those gorgeous gray papers look stunning with the white and pink elements on top on this wonderful card Pamellia. I think I might just 'need' those papers now (as if I don't have enough - lol).

I love the faces on all of the squirrels today, they are so very cute. We have about 4 inches of snow today and there is a blizzard outside so we are staying warm and cosy inside - we are just not used to it over here and they have not cleared any of the roads in our village... sadly. Stocked up with lots of food! Hugs, Anne xx

  17. Always such a joy to see your so very beautiful creations, the grey and pink are just fabulous and I have a new word to describe it "diaphanous" yep! I'm looking for words to describe your work as the "normal" ones are understated. LOVE your photos as always.

We have a red warning for snow and cold here in Wales today, so keeping inside and in the warm.
    Keep warm and safe.

  18. This is beautiful Pamellia. I agree about the greys the compliment so many other colours and the pink is perfect.
Sadly Spring seems a long way off for us in the UK, we've had our worst snow storms for many years and I'm trying to keep up with feeding the little furries that come into my garden

Grey and pink is always a fab colour combo (It saw me well through the 80's lol!!!) so this works beautifully. Love the brooch embellishment.
