Life is starting to get back to normal now, and although my coffee still doesn't taste quite right, it sure is nice to not be stuck in bed all day long with a fever!! lol. I'm really looking forward to the next snowfall so I can get back out onto the trails and visit my furry friends!! Til then, some older photos.
Pretty Sparrow all fluffy and round!
"I can see you're very busy taking photos, but take some time to feed me please!"
~Mr Blue Jay~
Sweet sweet Chickadee!
Sweet little Zippy! If you all remember, this is Dolly's brother, the other baby who was living on my patio. He's not a baby anymore, but he still enjoys laying around the patio furniture during those lazy mild winter days. Bless his wee heart!
Omg! Poor Crazy Karen! I wanna scoop her up and bring her inside and keep her warm and safe! I love winter, but I hate what these poor animals have to endure!
"Oh my gawd that buffet smells good, I'm just waiting for a spot to open up.
And I'm waiting, and I'm waiting!"
And I'm waiting, and I'm waiting!"
~No-eared Nathan~
That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.
What a lovely creation, and the title is really right for you. Great photos of your little friends, as always. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card as always, those soft blues are so lovely as is the puppy, little boys are not the only ones who love puppies, they're irresistible!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better, hope you get back to enjoying your coffee soon!
Aww, those poor squirrels in the snow, they're amazing photos but I do feel sorry for the cold little creatures!

A beautiful card Pamellia!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, your snow.... and your sweet critters...why does Nathan not have ears?Have you seen this before? I love your furry friend!
Jackie xoxo
Thanks so much Jackie. It is most likely a birth defect. There's no evidence of trauma or injury. I believe he was just born with stubby ears. Doesn't seem to bother him any, and his hearing isn't effected, so I think it just makes him all the more special. hugs :)
DeleteSo glad to hear you are feeling better, Pamellia. Your card is beautiful, as always. We are having sleet this morning so it is very slippery outside. I'm still waiting for a really good snowfall==a couple of inches isn't enough! lol
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm with you on that one Patty, it's never enough snow!! lol. hugs :)
DeleteGorgeous as always Pamellia..hope you coffee tastes like coffee soon and you feel better..poor little critters I think Nathans ears are just flat from the cold..please dont tell me he has none.I could not deal with that..
ReplyDeleteLuv CHRISSYxx
Thanks so much Chrissy. Oh Nathan is just fine, no worries. His ear drums and ear canals are intact and work great. It's purely an aesthetic abnormality, like a human with short earlobes. hugs :)
DeleteStunning as always Pamellia, I love the sweet image and all your amazing detail.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments on my blog.

Aww what a sweet paper Pamellia and such a gorgeous card. The flowers look so pretty there. I am so glad you are much better, there have been so many peeps flattened by the flu. Take it easy and I hope you get out soon to see your sweet furry friends, they look soooo cold in that snow. Hugs xxx

ReplyDeleteNo-eared Nathan is so adorable!! And oh my gosh, sweet Crazy Karen. I want you to scoop her up and take her inside, too. She looks so cold :( What a perfect-timed shot of her!! The birds are beautiful and I love the snow-covered trees!!
I'm so glad you are feeling better, my friend!! It has been such a brutal winter for colds and flu. I carry around a bottle of hand sanitizer and I use it after every store I visit!! I don't want that cough coming back. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!! Big hugs, sweet friend :)

A beautiful card Pamellia - and I do love your photos - we only get a light snow about once in five years, so to see yours is amazing, and to see the wee birds fluffed up is so sweet. And those squirrels look so cuddly in their winter coats

Beautiful delicate card, adorable image and your colours complement the image perfectly and as always beautifully embellished. Have a lovely weekend. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteLovely, sweet card, Pamellia. Gentle, soft colors with a hint of fun and mischief with the flowers and puppy. Beautifully done, right down to your bejeweled flower center. So pretty! The snowy purity your lens captures is a marvel to behold. Little critters foraging the snow for goodies, faithfully left by their dear human friend seem not to mind that they are the subject of your photography. I am especially in awe that something so fragile and weightless as a little bird can survive your winters. Our bird population is beginning to rebound from the devastation of Hurricane Irma. Does my heart good to hear the doves and owls again, and to see the cardinal families teaching their young to fly. We are still missing many cardinals, blue jays and tons of chickadees. Hopefully this will be a good year for them. Thanks for sharing your photos and beautifully designed card! XXOO
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and delicate card Pamellia!! I love the soft pastel colours and, yes, that puppy is so cute!! The bit of blue lace is gorgeous and I love all the added elements!! Just exquisite!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling lots better now. Must be a relief to be up and out of bed. Your photos are stunning as always and I wish you could send some of that snow down here!! I am so over our Aussie summer. Hopefully we will have some relief from our heat tomorrow. I certainly hope so anyway!
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous photos. It always makes me smile to see your sweet friends and I do hope they are coping alright with all that snow. Have a wonderful day my friend!! hugs xx
Your card is just stunning, love the open spaces on it. Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. I'll never forget having a really bad cold and eating a nectarine. I couldn't taste anything and it was like biting into a cold, wet sponge! Like you I feel so sorry for those squirrels (and other creatures) out in the freezing and snowy weather x
ReplyDeleteHi Pamellia
ReplyDeleteSuper card. Love the frills.
Good to know you are feeling better.
Good job your chums have got nice fur coats.
