Try it on Tuesday - Tic Tac Toe

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another challenge starting over at Try it on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who entered our 'Add a Photo' challenge, it was great to see all of the different styles of photographs from everyone!

This time around our theme is a favourite of mine - TIC TAC TOE. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Here is my make.

Here is your Tic Tac Toe board. You will need to use one line (3 items). You can go horizontally, diagonally or vertically. I chose FLOWERS, PUNCHES AND BEADS.

The large and medium blue flowers were cut using Spellbinders Create-a-Carnation die set and coloured with Hero Arts shadow ink Sky Blue and Tim Holtz distress ink Faded Jeans. The flower buds were cut using a poinsettia die.

The little leaves were punched with a Martha Stewart branch punch. The frilly border die is and EK Success punch and the teeny tiny flowers were punched with a little dollar store punch.

The wood planks are handmade using a variety of DecoArt paints and Tim Holtz ink pads, paints and ink sprays. The gorgeous bird stamp is from Kaisercraft and the butterfly was hand made with crafter's clay and a silicone mold. The little twig is a die from Nellie Snellen.

Lots of real moss and little pearl beads are nestled here and there throughout the card. Some crinoline and some natural fibres just to add to the rustic cottage feel I was going for.

I am entering the following wonderful challenges:

Good luck with FB, I have avoided it like the plague, takes me all my time to keep up with blogland and that seems to get harder by the day with new commitments - I know I am a glutton for punishment, but wish you luck with your new direction.

  43. Ooooo, Ahhhhh! Wow, Pamellia-you've taken me into a secret cottage garden with your lovely design! LOVE those wooden planks--they are the best, and if I didn't know better, I would swear they were real wood! The only thing giving it away is that wonderful little detail at the top where you've distressed the planks to reveal the moss and pearl bead, which reminds me of a little nest with a single egg in it...lovely touch! Oh, I REALLY could go on and on about this beauty of a card, but instead I will spend my time drinking in all of it's charm and vision. Thank you again, for blessing my day! Huge hugs, my friend!
