Wow, I can't believe it's 2016 already! Last year went by so quickly with so many new adventures and new friends, let's hope this year is just as amazing!! The holidays have almost come to a close for me. I have today and tomorrow to goof off, then Monday it's back to the old routine. I'm actually ok with that, I kind of like my routine! tee hee
As you can see, I am still in Christmas mode...AND I am apparently still in the blue mode as well. HA! Another Christmas card to go towards my stash for next year. I have used a couple new products I got for Christmas that I'm totally in love with.
As you can see, I am still in Christmas mode...AND I am apparently still in the blue mode as well. HA! Another Christmas card to go towards my stash for next year. I have used a couple new products I got for Christmas that I'm totally in love with.
Dies: Sizzix - Tattered Poinsettia, Memory Box - Circle Burst, Frostyville Wreath and Virtuoso Music, Penny Black - Snowflake Trio. Inks: Ranger Archival - Watering Can, Dylusions ink spray - Slate Grey, Tim Holtz Distress ink spray - Tumbled Glass. Stamp: Hero Arts - Plaid Background. Misc: the image is from The Graphics Fairy, the Snow Writer is from DecoArt and Glamour Dust crystal glitter is also from DecoArt.
For the blue panel, I have used a couple of new shimmer products that I got for Christmas. One is a 3D fabric paint from Krafty Kids and the other is a Blue Ice Pearl paint from Craft Smart. It's impossible to see the effect the fabric paint has on paper, but it made almost a marble effect when mixed with the shimmer paint. Very fabulous in real life...I will be picking up more of these paints!!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and really looking forward to seeing what you produce this year.
Great photos too and your little Scully is adorable.
First of all - let's get to the important part.... Scully.... oh my gracious... how I would love to have that little doll in my lap and give/take kisses. Absolutely PRECIOUS PRECIOUS PRECIOUS.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I love your card because it has music on it. Christmas Polka - you know... I love historical romances and I can just imagine your card as a invitation to the Christmas Polka held in the luxurious barn on a vintage plantation!!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't it be perfect????!!!! Hehehhehe. Your poinsettias are soooo beautiful - wow. It's just a stunning card in every way.
And again - just want to thank you so much for sharing all your Christmas lights and scenes and decor over the past weeks Pamellia. Your photos truly made my Christmas special. I come from a family that won the Christmas lighting every year!! My folks had a 4000 sq ft home and the would put out my grandfathers wooden decor - manager with animals, carolers, santa/sleigh on the roof, huge lighted wooden star on the roof, candy canes, etc etc... and millions of lights. White on the bushes/trees, green on the roof and red in the windows!!! And cars would drive by each night by the dozens. Sooo... not being able to get out much makes me miss seeing the lights. Now you know why I enjoyed seeing yours so much. They were wonderful. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! j.
WOW. Your neighborhood knows how to decorate. It is always fung to visit your blog and see your beautiful card and the fun pictures you always include. I love that you take so many pictures of your card so we can see all the fabulous details. I particularly like the way you framed the image in this card. All the texture dimension really make this a show stopper. Thanks for joining us at the Mod Squad Challenge this week.

I forgot to say on the last post that I so enjoyed taking the Christmas tour of your village, and I love these pictures, too!! Such a gorgeous place you live!! And how sweet is Scully in her Santa outfit!! Love!! Have a great evening my friend!! Big hugs :)
