I just want to say thank you to everyone for your sweet comments about my little pup Scully loosing her eyesight. All your stories of triumph have given my hope that she can still live a full and happy life! Thanks for your encouragement and support!
Now about my photos, this couldn't have worked out better if I planned it myself. Today I'm going to share some of my 'pot of gold' Lake Ontario beachfront photos from our Rattray Marsh Trail hike last weekend. How about that for a coinkee-dink!

On the other side of the lake you can see Toronto, the city where I used to live. Yep, I lived under that big dome of smog! It's pretty to look at from over here, but this is as close as I ever want to be again.

MRS DUCK - Thank you so much for identifying all the flowers from the MacEwan Terrace Gardens for me, any chance you can help me with this one? It was about thigh high, white petals.
Back at the home front, I had a visitor from a Blue Jay.
and a couple of Starlings having a kissy kissy session (or feeding)??
BRENDA is making a funny face from up in the tree!
PATRICIA takes a quick break before heading off. All that eating is quite exhausting you know!
MR BAGGINS poses in the sunshine for a quick pic. What a handsome dude!
And how about JUNIOR? Well he's almost full grown now. He's lost that cutsie little round baby face, but he sill manages to make me smile with this lazy ways and sweet poses!
YVONNE - Junior lets me get quite close to him. He's completely comfortable with me moving around outside while he's napping, or even sitting in the chair next to him. He won't let me pet him though... YET! lol

Hi Pamellia, I am thrilled to be able to pay you a visit it seems so long since I have set eyes on your magnificent creations also the beauty that you capture through your lens, I have spent a long, long time here just to lap up the awesome design work on your nautical themed card, I love all animals but there are a few that take the top spots like Seahorses, I have loved these magical creatures since I was very young, so it upsets me when I see the greed of man depleting the numbers of these mystical beings, you have captured the essence of the sea perfectly with the awesome image, colours and embellishments, it really is pure perfection. Your pictures are delightful I know i should not be envious, lol, but to me you are living in a paradise that I can only dream of, you have a wonderful eye for for capturing the beauty that surrounds you including the birds and Squirrels, Pamellia you bring so much joy to lives, especially mine, thank you for sharing.

My dear Pamellia, I am attempting another return to crafting and commenting... it seems I only manage one week before pain sets in too deeply. It is frustrating, but I am thankful to be visiting you today. First I want to mention your sweet furbaby... I know this pain, as only three weeks ago my precious furbaby lost his eyesight. Many tears, but I know surrounding him in love will make him as happy as he's always been. The same is true for you. Love is the greatest gift and he will feel every ounce of it in his furry little heart. :o)
ReplyDeleteYour card is the epitome of seaside beauty, my sweet friend! The layering is perfection, filled with stunning trims that are ideal for this theme. I love how wrapped them up in twine and I am just enamored with that seahorse. The pearls, the papers, the cascading ribbon.. not to mention the heartwarming wisdom and gorgeous accents throughout. Immersing myself in your creations helps my heart in so many ways. Your pictures are also inspiring, as your heart captures the loveliest moments in nature. Thank you for sharing your creative talents with us. You are a blessing. :o)
Hugs and blessings,
Karen
