Hello Everyone!

It's time for another challenge over at Frilly and Funkie. This time Suzz is the hostess and she has chosen the theme "WINTER HUES". This challenge requires you use any or all of the following colors: blue, white, silver, gray in your vintage or shabby chic project. One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Linda's shop The Funkie Junkie Boutique!

All of the following products that I used can be purchased at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

Our winter seems to have fizzled out already this year. It was short lived, but I enjoyed every snowflake while it was here. Nothing but rain predicted for the next two weeks, so I'm falling back on photos from one of my walks earlier in the season.

Tell me I didn't stumbled across the door to NARNIA!! Hellloooo!

For my birds today, I have this gorgeous Starling with her winter plumage...

my token male Cardinal shot...

Blue Jays just look so beautiful in the falling snow!

Out by the lake, MISSY is still hiding behind a tree. I hope she comes out to visit me someday.

From the balcony, my sweet friend MR CHUBB says hello with those darling eyes of his!

"Oh my gosh, I'm first in line for the buffet! How lucky am I!"

I thought you might enjoy a little update on the baby squirrel that came to me last May and grew up on my balcony. Here is our little buddy JUNIOR, who still hangs around when he gets a craving for peanut butter! Oh how I miss this little dude!

For my macro today, a pine needle totally encased in ice. So cool!!

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

I am now in Nicaragua, where it is summer, and very warm, so I am trying to adjust from one extreme to the other :-) Love all your photos - and there is still hope for snow! xxx Lynn
